Who: Florida Keys Farmers Market is operated by Mile Marker 81 LLC.

What: Our market features farm products, fresh produce, hand-made foods, art, crafts and much more. The Market serves as a venue for entrepreneurs and small business owners to showcase their talents and creativity.

When: Sundays 10am-3pm (Rain or Shine)

Where: 81001 Overseas Hwy, Islamorada, Florida

Cost: Booth Fees are Jun-Nov/$50 and Dec-May/$60

Booth Space Info: All booth spaces measure 10’x10′ (10′ height max.) All booth displays must stay within the designated booth space. More than 1 booth space may be purchased. Limited water and electric is available on site.

Prior to the market you will receive email/phone confirmation of your booth space and instructions. Upon arrival to the market you must request a parking pass (one pass per booth space). Please direct any questions to Andrea at: 305-432-6900

    In order to run a more reliable, enjoyable and successful Farmers Market for our Vendors and Patrons we have implemented the following terms conditions and fees for all vendors:

    Terms and Conditions

    Regulations must be observed and none of the sponsors, Mile Marker 81 LLC and its representatives, employees, officers, members and directors, can be held responsible for any loss, injury or damage sustained by a Vendor/Exhibitor, its employees or guests. The Vendor/Exhibitor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless all sponsors. Vendor/Exhibitors causing damage to the premises or property shall be liable for the cost of repair and related expenses necessary to recover said expenses.

    1. Check-In Requirements – Always check-in with the on duty Market Manager prior to set-up. If you are unsure who to check-in with call 305-432-6900. Failure to check-in with the designated market manager will result in a $20 admin fee.
    2. Check-Out Requirements – Check-out requires notifying management of your planned participation for the following Sunday and requires payment to reserve your space. Market Vendors who leave without checking out may be subject to loss of their space.
    3. Set-Up Requirements – Set-up on time! Set-up hours are 8am – 9:45am. All vehicles must load in/out from main parking lot. DO NOT use any neighboring property parking lot. Unload your supplies and immediately move your vehicle to vendor parking (on Old Road behind property). Your booth MUST be ready to serve customers and your vehicle MUST be removed from the market area no later than 9:45am. Failure to be set up or remove your vehicle by required time will result in a $20 late fee. *Repeat offenders may be banned from future markets at Managements discretion.
    4. Break-down Requirements – Break-down on time! Break-down hours are 3pm – 4:30pm. DO NOT begin breaking down your vendor booth until 3:00pm because this is our advertised closing time and we don't want our customers to feel rushed. No Vehicles may be moved to market area until 3:10pm. This allows any final shoppers to finish making their purchase safely. All vendors must vacate the market property by 4:30pm. Vendor vehicles moved to the market area before 3:10 pm and/or vendors who do not follow the closing rules will result in a $20 admin fee.
    5. Parking Requirements – Due to limited parking at our location, only 1 parking pass will be issued to each vendor. Overnight parking will not be allowed. No vendors may park in designated on-site customer parking, Galleria Parking Lot, or public right-of-way on Overseas Hwy. Failure to move vehicle from market area by 9:45am or failure to park in the designated area will result in a $20 parking fee.
    6. Restrooms – See Market Manager for designated restrooms.
    7. Payment Requirements – Payment is required in advance for booth reservations, and can be paid at the market, in advance, by cash/check for the following Sunday or paid via credit/debit online by Wednesday before the reserved date. If paid in advance at market, payment must be made to market manager before 3pm. On time payment will ensure preferred booth locations and the confirmed reservation of your space. Payment not received on time will result in loss of reservation.
    8. Safety Requirements – All Vendors must secure tents with appropriate weights in to guard against heavy winds. Vendors not using weights on tents will result in a $20 safety fee and be banned from future events until appropriate weights are furnished.
    9. Trash/Refuse Requirements – Each participant is responsible for their trash, recycling and/or cooking oil. Before leaving, your space should be as clean, or cleaner, than when you arrived. Pick up all scraps of trash, spills, cigarette butts, napkins, bottle caps and any other trash within 6 feet of your booth regardless of whether you generated the trash, or debris. This is YOUR farmers market which represents YOUR BUSINESS, so let's keep it looking nice. *Vendors who use Farmers Market trash cans, or dumpsters will be charged a $20 trash fee. NO EQUIPMENT MAY BE STORED ON THE PROPERTY without written permission. *Repeat violators will be will be banned from the market.
    10. Signage – Vendors may display an A-frame sign on the road. We recommend using a sign to help increase visibility and promote your products at the market. More signs on the road will result in better visibility for all vendors, which will ensure more traffic and a more profitable market for everyone!
    11. Booth space allocation is based on space size requested on your application. More than one space may be purchased. Vendors may only occupy the space assigned and may take up no more than the allotted space nor obstruct walkways. Failure to comply will result in additional fees or eviction.
    12. No vendor may set-up without providing proof of insurance.
    13. The State of Florida requires sales tax to be paid on certain goods. It is your responsibility to properly report and pay necessary sales tax.
    14. Booth space is pre-assigned at the Market Manager's discretion.
    15. Spaces next to you may not be “saved” for another vendor.
    16. Booth materials, decorations, setup and break-down are the responsibility of the participant.
    17. Participants may not play loud music or radios at their stall or engage in loud hawking or shouting to promote products.
    18. Food purveyors and temporary food facilities must use biodegradable food packaging when using disposable food packaging, which includes cups, lids, plates, hinge containers, bowls, trays, cartons, cutlery, straws, and bags. Food purveyors and temporary food facilities may not provide prepared or take-out food in, on, or with disposable food packaging that contains Styrofoam (polystyrene) of any kind.
    19. Participants must conduct all promotions and sales within their assigned stall space. No boxes, produce displays, or signs may extend more than 3 feet into consumer walkways. Table frontages must be behind the set-up line designated by the market manager.
    20. There is limited electricity available. Use of quiet generators is permitted if you have a working fire extinguisher. Please set up generators behind your booth.
    21. There is limited water available.
    22. Tents may be no larger than the booth space assigned and must be adequately weighted.
    23. BE NICE to your booth neighbors, the locals are watching.
    24. Your children and pets must always be supervised by an adult. Please don't let them run around the show.
    25. Not playing well with others will result in exclusion from future shows.
    26. Vendors may be shut down and asked to pack up and leave at the event directors discretion for rule violations. No refunds will be given.
    27. No smoking in your booth or in the event area except for vendors selling tobacco products. Why? Because it's courteous to not subject your guests or tent neighbors to secondhand smoke.
    28. Due to occasional strong winds at this location, each tent leg must have 40lbs of weight either by sandbags, water jugs, PVC pipe or appropriate tent weights. No other weights will be acceptable.
    29. We will not tolerate shady or unscrupulous business practices from any vendor. If we witness or are presented with evidence of bad business practices or poor customer service, racism, sexism, or any ism, the offender will be placed on permanent banned list and excluded from all location events. Practice Natural Law: Don't do unto others that which you don't want done to you.
    30. Refunds - NO Refunds will be made due to inclement weather, however vendor may use payment for future events if event is canceled due to weather.

    GENERAL RELEASE: The undersigned shall indemnify and hold harmless Mile Marker 81 LLC and any sponsors for any injury or damage occurring as a result of the operation. By signing below I acknowledge I have read and will follow the rules provided.

    IN WITNESS WHEREOF, this Vendor Agreement has been executed and delivered in the manner prescribed by law as of the Effective Date first written below.
